Situated very close to all the buzz that is Barcelona, this hotel certainly catered for us (five older ladies). We discovered on the last day that the restaurant in the hotel was packed with locals - always a good sign. The hotel was relatively cheap too. My only grouse was that as there were five us us we had one twin room and one triple room; the triple room had twin beds an one z-bed type which was not really acceptable for "older" people, I felt. Otherwise would recommend this to anyone - very acceptable at the price we paid.

Top Tip:
Do the tours (red and blue tours) which are excellent value at 23Euros for a two day pass - the new cable car just opened this year is not to be missed. Set Portes restaurant is one of the best I have ever eaten in.
