Hotel very centrally located, so ideal for sight seeing. Only a few hundred yards from Placa de Catalunya where the Aerorbus drops off and picks up from airport. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Ginos (Italian Restaurant) is exellent - a couple of doors up from the hotel. The best way to see everything in a short time is using the Bus Turistic (once again from the Placa de Catalunya). One fare (21 euros for 1 day and 27 euros for 2) and just hop on and off three separate routes all day! The aerobus from the airport to the city centre was excellent value at about 8 euros return - they run every 6 minutes. If you like football don't miss the stadium tour at camp nou!!

Breakfast is too expensive and does leave a certain amount to be desired. Staffing of restaurant fine but hot items and and hot water for tea & coffee very poor. Don't appreciate egg shells in fried eggs or lack of stirring of scrambled eggs. Unable to book parking on line or by telephone with hotel. As it was there was plenty of space in hotel parking but by UK standards expensive at 17.50€ per night plus IVA. Outside parking very expensive sometimes as much as 40€ per night.

Good hotel. Nice room with a big terrace. Good location, very close to tourist attractions etc. Good selection of food for breakfast - the lukewarm tea and coffee was a bit of a disappointment though! Try to book the 8th floor. Lovely rooms and very quiet

Very central and very comfortable. At breakfast time a few more staff were needed to cope with the number of people.

In the heart of the gothic quarters, very friendly staff and helpful, all information available for Barcelona itself. I would recommend the hotel for definite. 4 stars in my book.

Tourist bus is a must 21 euro's for one day 27 euro for two. Three routes, pop on and off, finsh at 5.30pm from 9.30am depending on season. Walking to the Cathedral was easy and also approx half an hour walk to the beach/port, also parellel to the Rambla, great shopping and restaurants.

Hotel staff were very friendly. Hotel was clean and comfortable and well situated. Breakfast was very good - the only problem was the bar prices - very expensive.
