Excellent city centre location, ideal for all attractions.- Nothing fancy but it's mostly a better price than other 3 stars.
- Rooms are small, simple and clean, service is average.
- Breakfast is full and varied, served in the basement.
Our Review
The hotel is located in the Gothic quarter, just 2 minutes' walk from the Ramblas. This is a great option for those who want a prime location but are on a tight budget. The hotel offers basic 3-star accommodation, some rooms being quite small, which makes this a good base to explore the city providing luxury is not your priority.

The breakfast room is one of the hotel’s highlights, with its vaulted ceilings and exposed stonework. Breakfast is offered from 07:00 until 10:30 and comprises a hot and cold buffet with sausage, eggs, cereals, yoghurt, cold meats, cheese, croissants, and fruits. As with most breakfasts in Barcelona, it is quite substantial and there is a good variety on offer.
Cafe ... The hotel has a small cafe/bar located at the entrance to the restaurant i.e. below ground, it is fairly basic and functional.
Restaurant ... The restaurant is located in a large vault-like room downstairs with decorated stone walls atmospheric lighting. It can be used for conventions or large groups and serves Mediterranean and international cuisine. There is also a snack bar just at the entrance to the breakfast room and restaurant.

suprised to find the hotel bar was locked up at 11pm... Good bar & resteraunt facilities... A little picky with charges (e.g. the safe), ... Furnishings could do with improvement... Foyer attractive but belies a rather shabby interior ... Breakfast was full and varied but in the basement again very dark and gloomy. ... Dining facilities excellent.... Do not, under any circumstances, eat in their restaraunt... There is very little communal lounge space... bar open 8pm to 11pm very dickensian...
