Brilliant location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, 5 minutes' walk from the Ramblas. Average hotel which can represent really good value if service is less important and you are looking for a simple clean room.

bring earplugs if your bedtime is early relative to Barcelona!... noise from the street ... the rooms at the front are not particularly sound proof... we had a room overlooking the street which was very ... noisy at night... we were then at the front of the hotel and there was a lot of noise from the street,... asked for a non-smoking room when making the booking but was given a smoking room ... rooms facing the street were actually quite noisy bearing in mind that Barcelona is a city which appears not to sleep. Next time we would ask for a room at the back ... The electronic door locks constantly needed to be "re-designated" for no apparent reason... Insecure balcony window-didn't lock... There is nothing wrong with this hotel, just the night noise from outside... It was a bit noisy because of the festival but the location was very good. ... there is a steady buzz of passers by throughout the night which may not appeal to everyone. ...
