Our Review

The Confortel Almirante has benefited greatly from a recent renovation. It is a very well situated hotel on the edge of the Gothic Quarter, within 10 minutes of the Ramblas, Port or Plaza Catalunya. A good base, with spotless rooms, ideal if you are planning to be out and about most of the time.

This is a modern style hotel built in 1989. The hotel has a traditional facade that has been fully restored to its former glory. The lobby area is decorated with fine marbled floors and with modern, well designed furnishings. The bedrooms are medium in size and well decorated, also with marbled floors and natural wooden furnishings with soft coloured fabrics to match.

     Good hotel for a group ...             have to keep asking for food at breakfast ...             we found it to be very good....             I called on the day of check in to inform I would arrive after 8pm and was told this was no problem. When I then arrived at hotel I was told there were no rooms available ...             Very pleased with the hotel...             The breakfasts were lovely...             A basic hotel...             breakfasts are great and not restricted to continental...             Really good breakfast although scrambled egg and bacon was cold! ...             A good standard basic hotel in a good position...             great breakfast buffet.[excellent]. ...             we really enjoyed our stay...             Excellent hotel...             just had a facelit...             hotel was excellent...             Excellant buffet breakfast...
