very close to all shops and La Ramblas. Beware!! we had money stolen from our room by cleaning staff. use the safe facilities!

Barcelona is famous for its pickpockets and thieves. just be careful with your belongings The bus Tourista is the best value in town for seeing the sights

Very convenient location just 2 blocks from Placa de Catalunya. Many excellent restaurants close to hand

very close to rambla without being a very busy bustling street. One of the Barcelona bus tours can be picked up from Passeig de Garcia, just outside the hotel Taxis are very cheap everywhere since the hotel is so central

Water not hot in mornings OK for shower - not for shaving !! Would not class Hotel as 4* good 3*. Hotel convienient for Airport Bus.

Combination of Tourist Buses and Metro( T10 tickets ) worked great.

The Cristal Palace is excellently located just a few minutes from the airport bus and train. It is beside the Metro and also one of the main shopping streets. The staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast is really good, from cold food to hot breakfast buffet style. We were on the eight floor and the room was at the back of the hotel, very nice room and quiet. Would definitely stay there again. Just be aware that the bar closes at 11pm even for residents.

Top Tip

Get to attractions early if you can to avoid queues. We used the metro which is brilliant. A ten journey ticket can be shared by two people and is a very easy way to get around. We also used taxis once or twice and they are very reasonable especially for two or more people. We got an ArtiTicket for €20 which is good value, we got ours at the Joan Miro exhibition. It allows you entry to a number of listed attractions. The great thing is they allow you to skip the queues! You just present them to the person at the entrance and they will go to the ticket office for you, brilliant! Had no problem whatsoever with pickpockets just be sensible and you'll be okay. We also used the AeroBus to and from the airport. It is very convenient and leaves regularly. Going to the airport leave at least 40minutes for the journey to allow for traffic which is always heavy in Barcelona.

Quality of service was exceptional and the location is absolutely perfect. Highly recommend it.

Top Tip

Make sure you use the tourist bus 2 day pass for 23 Euros each. Fantastic service not only for ease of travelling around, but for info, frequency of buses and excellent staff.
